Wednesday June 8th saw the celebration of a wonderful event with a very positively spirited, cosmopolitan ambience – indeed a very ‘Marbella’ feel. On a classically warm and sunny summer afternoon, models paraded the inspired creations of designer Virginia Macari as part of a swimwear and beachwear couture fashion show at the beachside venue of the Puente Romano.
Sustainable beachwear
This elegant seaside Marbella setting proved the ideal spot for a fashion show with a difference, for apart from creating beautiful modern beachwear designs, Virginia Macari also set herself the ambitious task of making swimwear fashion more sustainable. The result is a highly innovative collection of bikinis and bathing suits made from recyclable and sustainably sourced materials – with no compromise whatsoever on style, quality, comfort and durability.
