Our Top 5 Marbella Beach Clubs
The holidays are just round the corner!! If you have decided to come to Marbella for your holidays this year, either for the first time or as a returning visitor, whether for Easter or for what promises to be a really great 2014 summer, we are sure that you will want to spend, at least once during your stay, a little time at one of the famous Marbella Beach Clubs.
Below we have shortlisted what we reckon are the TOP 5 MARBELLA BEACH CLUBS, all of which are worthy of being placed on your holiday “MUST DO” list!!
“Lavish luxury leisure” can probably be seen at its very best at the Nikki Beach Club, Marbella and this fabulous beach hot-spot promises us that 2014 will be the first year in a new decade of flashy fun-days, long lazy lunches and sophisticated sundown soirées!!
Nikki Beach is known the world over for throwing the best parties throughout the summer months and cleverly mixes a great daytime atmosphere of luxury sunbathing (lolling on huge Polynesian-style sunbeds, with a bottle of Dom Perignon on ice and a platter of fresh fruit to nibble through), with themed day parties and live music, and fine evening dining “gourmet-style”.
And like all the best clubs throughout the world, Nikki Beach pulls in the big names: the wealthy, the famous and the beautiful – definitely the place to see and be seen!!

Just 15 minutes west of Marbella, on the way to Estepona, sits the fabulous Laguna Village with its exclusive Puro Beach which gives visitors a very different experience altogether. With its stunning pool which appears to literally “flow” into the Mediterranean giving the sensation of being on a luxury ocean cruiser, you can enjoy a lazy day sunbathing, de-stress by taking in a session of Yoga, and sip on your favourite cocktail in the most glamorous of surroundings while you feast your eyes on the latest summer trendy fashions at one of the many fashion shows that take place, or listen to the new beats while music videos are being filmed.
And, if you are looking to really pamper yourself, you can enjoy great food in one of the restaurants in the Village after trying, testing and acquiring something from your favourite designer label store!
And, if you prefer a select nightclub scene, there´s nothing like clubbing outdoors by the sea in the cool Marbella summer evenings at Puro Beach, while you rub shoulders and clink champagne glasses with the rich and famous!

Trocadero Arena is a restaurant on the beach, but with a difference….. It is definitely not your typical “chiringuito” but rather a beautiful restaurant with exquisite décor, delicious gourmet food, and fun “themed” evenings with live entertainment, which just happens to sit on the sand! And, as it is literally on the beach, beautiful sunbeds and loungers are set out just steps away from the water´s edge, where you can enjoy cocktails and refreshments under the cool shade of a parasol before making your way up to your table for lunch.
Trocadero Arena is one of THE Marbella restaurants to visit and, as it is open all year round, it is the perfect place for a sunny winter lunch on the terrace with friends and family – all the more enjoyable if you think of European friends tightly wrapped up in their winter woollies in much colder climes!
Chic, very chic.

Right beside the famous marina of Puerto Banús, Ocean Club is the perfect Beach Club, but without the beach! Famous for its champagne spray parties, Ocean Club is truly the party-goer’s paradise, but if you want something a little more subdued or relaxing, the Club offers a quieter VIP area and long lazy massages. And for the sun worshippers, huge circular sunbeds surround the pool area which has incredible views of the Mediterranean and Puerto Banús immediately to the west. Both will be kept happy to the tune, literally, of the spinning of some of the most renowned DJ’s on today´s scene.
Ocean Club restaurant offers fine dining based on innovative “fusion cuisine” with Mediterranean, French and Asian influences and “twists” – the select and beautifully elaborated menu is surely one of the reasons why many go in the first place or return on a regular basis.
Famous faces turn up every year, from T.V. stars, to footballers and their girlfriends to big music names, and all looking for the same summer scene…. Fun fun fun!!!
