Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert de Niro will open a luxury hotel in Marbella

A grandiose project involves huge investments and will be implemented in 2018. 49 magnificent rooms in one of the best resorts in Europe.

Japanese chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, better known as Nobu, and his Oscar-winning partner Robert de Niro opened a restaurant last June in the five-star hotel Puente Romano Marbella. The cuisine concept of the new restaurant combines modern Japanese cuisine with the addition of local products for exclusive dishes.

Nobu Hotel Marbella will offer a high level of accommodation, only suites, an opening is planned for the spring of 2018.

A collection of hotels created by the chef includes Miami, Manila, Las Vegas, Malibu, Riyadh and London, also plans to open hotels in Spain, Chicago or Bahrain.

In Marbella the idea was to create a boutique hotel, located in the heart of the five-star Puente Romano hotel, in which the Nobu & Lounge restaurant has just opened.

The project is planned to begin with 49 suites with the subsequent expansion to 81 rooms by mid-2019. “The goal is to create an exceptional hotel that will attract the most elite tourism and position Marbella as a first-class resort on the international scene,”- explains Nobu Hotel Marbella director Francesco Roccato.

The concept of the hotel is aimed at international clientele, namely couples looking for more than just a traditional hotel experience, but a “lifestyle-resort”.
